The company tractor is fitted with a Quicke loader. The joystick had seen better days- it was missing the top cap and I was getting tired of nicking my palm on the exposed terminal ends. I searched and searched for some sort of farm tractor replacement grip. I found a grip for a Koyker loader on Shortlineparts.com, but wasn't too excited about spending $75 plus freight.
Then I came across this Mercedes W190 style shift knob on ebay for $15 and took a chance on it.
It had the shift pattern imprinted in the top of the knob, but one pass with the propane torch and that faded away. I drilled out the insert on the knob and tapped it to match the Quicke joystick thread and wallah!
I should say, this Quicke joystick did have some auxiliary buttons on the bottom side, but our machine doesn't utilize them.
Hoping this helps someone out!
