Can my Kubota L6060 with a third function remote handle a loader mounted 18-24”auger? I’ve got a lot of trees to plant in the coming year and thought it would be a nice way to dig the holes.

Yes. Ideally, you should find one that is designed for the flow rate of your tractor. It'll still work with augers designed for faster flow rates, it'll just turn slower.

Owning a GL,I don't believe you will have enough flow to run off the third function.I run a snow plow and grapple off mine.

Lower flow still works with an auger. It just turns slower. My auger is rated for 7-17 GPM. My machine is rated at 11 GPM. His L6060 is 9.4 GPM.
