I've just put in a new driveway turnaround and the L3830 moved over 60 ton of rock in less than 3 hours. Awesome! However I did manage to rub all the paint off the back of the loader dragging and smoothing the 57 stone. As I was spraypainting it I had the idea of using that stuff they use to line pick up beds. It looks like it might hold up pretty well under the abuse. Any thoughts or other suggestions? I know that it will see some wear especially doing stone/road work.

The material might wear well (I have it in my Tundra's bed), but I'd be concerned about adhesion in this situation. You have a lot more control over that in a pickup bed! On a loader, any corner and curve will be subjected to the material being pulled off in a sheet. Keeping a spray can of Kubota paint handy might be the better solution, IMHO.

I doubt that is a good idea. You could have it powder coated or repainted or just keep it touched up with some spray can paint.
I have that coating in my Tundra as well, it is tough stuff but not suitable for a digging, scrapping tool.

I touched-up my bucket with regular Kubota spray paint. It didn't last very long so I don't plan to spray the bottom of the bucket any more. If someone comes up with a paint that will hold up as well as powder coat I may change my mind.

A local body shop gave me a couple of onces of some kind of super paint to try but it rubbed of in short order also.
