Loader question

 / Loader question #51
I still question the need for all the fancy linkage at the bucket [dump] on my 1450. My bucket rolls to far back now since I modified it and the dump goes beyond verticle. Forgot alot of my Physics teachings, but could you attach the present cylinders directly to the bucket?????????? Shorter cylinders?????? combination of the two????
The restrictor valve is a must, but I don't have mine on yet. bcs

The present cylinders are far to short to use directly to the bucket. You would need to replace them with longer cylinders, but before I get the dump angles I would like the cylinders would hit the loader frame so I would need to modify more things than I would like.
The fancy linkage does give much better roll and dump angles but the way they are set up also forfeits some power.
I think my best and easiest bet and still maintain most of my roll and dump angles is to make some minor modifications to the linkage and add 2" cylinders.
I am checking out a set of cylinders at www.surpluscenter.com that I may be able to make work .

What loader model are we talking about? I thought it was a KL1450, but those pics are NOT of a standard KL1450 and Skid steer quick attach. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

My loader is a 1595 w/quick attach on a DK 55 and it is a thing of its' own imagination. Not to be confused with the Vince35 DK 35I will try to get a pic of the tractor loader today. No roll back balls form the get go .

My loader is a KL1450.
In some of my posts I do mention that I have no digital camera to take pictures of my loader and quick attach and these photos were from my dealers website to show how the pins go to the quick attach and not the bucket .
I also mention in one of my posts that my quick attach is slightly differant with a solid plate across the front and half way down the back.

Gmol, DK35Vince,

Don't take this the wrong way, but why would you guys go through all this if your tractor is still under warranty /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif Shouldn't your dealer be dealing with this instead of you?

I can understand making changes if your tractor is out of warranty.

Good luck, RedDog Kioti DK65

My dealer is really trying to help. Kioti is the problem. No other loader options for DK 55 as of now.

RedDog,
My tractor is 2 years old.
My tractor is still under warrenty, my loader is not.
I had a 3 year warranty on the tractor and a 1 year warranty on the loader.
