I posted earlier that my la681 loader will not go up and down. I live in Virginia and the temp is pretty warm around here this time of year. The curl on the bucket works fine. The joystick will go side to side but it will not move up or down at all it almost acts like the valve is stuck. I dont know if there is some kind of pressure release that would fix this. I hope the valve is not messed up. I checked all the qd's took them apart and put them back together. Any suggestions????????????

Is the joystick jambed even with the engine off? Normally, once the engine is off you can move the joystick all around to relieve the pressure in the lines. If it's still balky, make's you wonder if it's a mechanical problem with the lever.

look to see if you have a partially disconnected hydraulic line. If no, look for a hunk o junk blocking the linkage.

Did you visually examine the mechanical linkages?:D

You may have to remove a cover plate to do so.:D

On my Kubota B7100 one of the linkages had a tendency to come apart when out in the field. After several temporary field fixes I finally got around to doing a proper fix on it.

You may also wish to see if the joystick linkage system is wore out. I had to replace mine twice.:D
