Loader will not take grease.

Some of the zerks on my NH loader would not take grease I tried cleaning around the shaft and that worked on one of them.

Take the fitting out and see what happens when you put the gun to it. If it won't take any grease, replace the fitting.

Make sure there's no load on the joint - or try moving it a bit and try the grease gun again. Sometimes the clearance between inner and outer bores closes up and the grease has no way to fill the joint.

Also, on new equipment the clearances may be so tight that it impedes the process. BTDT If the grease is coming out from around the top of the zerk, you might need a new tip on your grease gun. Auto parts stores have them. BTDT too.

Last resort solution is to get someone working the loader up and down or the bucket back and forth depending on which zerks wont take grease while you pound the grease to them.

Quick easy solution to get you going quickly. Soak the old zerks in some diesel and they may become usable again.

if the joint is moving, and the zerk is good and it won;t take grease.. the grease channel in the pin may have hard grease in it. one of those poundable blockage clearers with some lighter oil in it may help.
