Ok, thanks. I'll mentioned it to my dealer to see if he can make any contact with Kioti just to see if they will even "address" it. They are just up the street.

There is clearly some variation in "skidsteer QA" attachment plate sizes but I've never seen anything as small as the Kioti's 40 inches.
There is a full 4 inch gap at the moment on my grapple as it has managed to get itself pushed all the way over to the left side. It works fine but is lopsided. You can see the gap on the right side (driver's perspective) in the photos.
Not sure why Kioti went to 40" wide on the newer single lever QA.IslandTractor said:I measured the tractor QA yesterday. The KL401 QA is 40 inches wide. My grapple (Millonzi) is 44 inches. I have the older 2 lever Kioti QA on my KL1450 loader and it is 44" wide.
Not sure if it would fit or not. The KL401 is a Korean made loader.mark.r said:I assume the 2 lever is retro fitable to the KL401 either?

I say this for the most selfish of reasons. I love Kubotas but my local Kioti dealer is so incredibly good that when time I talk to him I want to buy a Kioti. I might look at going to another tractor next year instead of adding a backhoe and a QA adapter and remotes etc. to mine and I think that I will force myself to look at the DK40 and DK45 given the quality of the dealer.

There is a fairly simple solution that any full service dealer could implement for a couple hundred bucks. First woudl be to simple weld a couple of 2 inch spacers to the outboard side of the KL401 attachment points, that would give you 44 inch width. The next thing you'd need to do is to weld on a standard QA adapter plate to the Kioti bucket so your new "standard" width KL401 would fit the Kioti bucket. After doing that everything would be hunky dory.
