Loaders

Rob, I took another look at Loretta's FEL the horizontal cross braces are quite different. I guess I have the older type, tho it was ordered last year. Richard

Loretta's 284 has the wheels at their widest setting.
It has the 48" Jimna bucket and I hate it. It's a small bucket to work with and takes a lot more trips when moving material.
Wish it had the 60" bucket on it.

Time for mod Rob. Get the cutting wheel out and widen that dude.

Dang, I never even thought of that... never crossed my dumb mind to do that Chris.
I'll have to put that mod on the ever growing list of "mods to do". lol I need to fix her bucket anyway.
The grapple has cause a "bow" upward on her bucket. I didn't run the base plate all the way across the top. So I might as well do both at the same time. One other thing I will do is re-located the grapple base and height so the tip of the grapple jaws meet the tips of her toothbar. I want to do that on my Kama too. The grapple I made was set up to me the bucket lip but after many hours of grappling on my Kama and now her Jinma, it would be better served to have the jaws out to the tips of the toothbar for a number of reasons.
Thanks for the idea Chris. You woke me up.:)

Well you've all convinced me. We'll go the Koyker 160 route and pay the extra dough. I'm sure I won't have any regrets that way. I asked Coldwater for specs but never received them, which is a concern. Thanks everyone.

I am sorry if I have confused your loader with another but I have personally seen a few on Jinma's where the curl cylinder has ripped out of the t bucket or the torque tube between the loader arms. I can not say for 100% sure if it was one of your loaders or not but that is what I recall. I do very much like that you are using sae hoses and valves that are american made and easy to get parts for.

I no longer have a Jinma tractor but the Koyker loader I had on it was a great appendage. Never had a problem with it and it was quality built . I think it was the 110 but not positive.
