... One problem I found with the lock-n-lube is if you hit a fitting that won't take grease you play heck getting the fitting to release.
Clean, but you missed a spot.Yeah I need to get a life.
Ha ha... yeah if you look closely on the orange one, I got a leak at hose connection. Winter is coming and this is when I clean all my tools. Garage time!Clean, but you missed a spot.![]()
I always use the pistol grip type guns. Bought a new gun and added the lock-n-lube. Main reason I bought the new gun was to use the grease type specified in my BH manual. Discovered the grease or lock-n-lube don't perform as well as my old Ford spec moly grease and old standard tip gun do. I might load a tube of moly grease in the new gun and give it another try one day but maybe not.

Greasing my backhoe is time consuming. I need to start doing it every two weeks. Last time I spent 3 hours because I had to knock several pins out to get the grease to flow. Probably won't have that problem since I changed back to my normal grease and if I do it more than once a month like I was trying to do. Sometimes a fitting won't take grease if I have the pin loaded on the fitting side. First thing I try is to take pressure off the pin by repositioning the part I'm greasing.
