Greetings...

While playing in the snow I noticed I can't seem to get my rear diff to lock (simply by stepping on the foot pedal, I assume...). I checked the Parts book (Thanks again Len!) and externally all the parts are there. Has anyone else had this problem? Will a little WD 40 or PB Blaster clear it up, or will I most likely need to take the spring assembly apart? Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this before I drag the tools to the tractor (it's in the woods right now, snowed in at the piece of property I'm working on. I'll post a picture of it sitting in the Barn when I take one /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif ).

It is very possible that it froze where it goes through the housing. Use some loosener & tap lightly with a hammer every once in a while till it loosens
