I have Electrohydraulic Third SCV at the rear of my tractor. I control using my thumb on my joystick. It works fine with my grapple, hydraulic top link, and my stump grinder -- but could I hook-up and use a log splitter?

Seems like I would have to have my thumb on the switch and simultaneously be behind the tractor operating the Splitter. Am I correct?

Title should read: Log Splitter Functionallity

Is the switch a momentary or a lock switch?

Do you have to hold the switch to use the stump grinder, and if not, then you can use the valve with a log splitter.

You need continuous flow.

I don't have continuous flow -- or a lock. When I take my thumb off the button, the flow stops.
Same thing with my loader functions -- lift & curl.

Then you need a PB line to feed the log splitter.

Your loader valve probably has PB if it is feeding the scv valve, so you could run a hose to the back with a QD for the BH. BH return can go to a tank line or to the filler cap. If your BH valve has PB, then you can add it is series with the scv valve.
