Yes, we learned that end coating helps prevent staining and slows the logs from drying to fast.
We use the lumber to fix up the barn, my dad has made some picnic tables and I like to make pine furniture and we have sold some.
The log lengths are either 8' 6" or 10' 6". It depends on how straight and clear the log is.
