Long Legs in an M59?

If the loader is off, as would be the case when operating a hydraulic powered snowblower

M59's loader is non-removable.

Its not one pump thats putting out 26 GPM its is 3 separate pumps. Their output is never combined anywhere except for the spec sheet.

my 15 GPM was shooting from memory... this time I went and looked it up.

HYDRAULICS
Open Center - Gear Type
Total Pump Capacity 26.7 gpm (Includes Power Steering)
BH Boom Swing Pump 9.5 gpm
Front / Rear Remotes 16.1 gpm

hopefully this explains what flow is available, and where, and why in practical terms, you'll never exceed 15gpm out the 3rd function port.

It absolutely does. Thanks! A non-removable loader is a non-starter for me. Too bad, I thought I found my machine. Oh well, so close and yet so far.

the plus on the non-removable loader, is you won't find anything with more lift until you get to the upper M series tractors.

Any way to attach a grapple to the loader?

the 59 has a skidsteer QA frame as part of the loader... so more options than I can count for front implement exchange.

I opted for a WR Long grapple.

Mind if I ask which WR Long grapple you got and what width? Was it the RBG model? I can see how the dual grapple, Root, Rake, Brush model would be useful on our farm.

RBG-84.

The RBG is more a root-rake, with grapple ability. VS the OBG which is a grapple, with very limited raking ability.

I got the single vs the dual

I use a grapple all the time with mine. It works great. It's nice to have the integrated 3rd function loader, rather than using a rear remote.

I was thinking that I would not want a tractor with a non-removable loader. The funny thing is that I never removed mine form the old tractor the 7 years I have had it. So for me it is a non issue.

Wow! That much loss? I can maybe see losing almost 12 GPM from total capacity with the BH attached (and operating). But without the BH? Where's it going? Looking at the L5740 with the same 59HP and (perhaps) the exact same engine, the power steering siphons less than 5 GPM from the total. If the loader is off, as would be the case when operating a hydraulic powered snowblower, where's the other 7 GPM going leaving just 15 GPM?

4Papa,

According to the Kub website, the L5740 only has 9.8 GPM available for aux flow. The M59 has around 16 GPM.. I could be mistaken, but I'm not aware of any tractor under 100hp with more GPM available for auxilliary flow than the M59.

My seat in a Mahindra 2615HST only slid forward and backward. Tractor was OK to drive with seat all the way back. When seat started falling apart (tears in seat) rather than buy an exact replacement or have it recovered I bought a suspension seat and installed it. Had the modify the slide plate a little but the seat raised me up higher about 2" and is much more comfortable to drive now. I too have arthritis in my hips and knees but the suspension seat has helped a lot. I bought my seat online from thesmartfarmer on Ebay for $95.00 with free shipping. Its made for New Holland but is easily adapted to most tractors.
