Long time Original Member=free hat!

A week ago or so there was a post about the original 100 members and if they still posted. Original members Anyway I was mentioned as one of the early members. I joked about getting a free hat for being here so long! Well it really happened!!.... Muhammad asked me for my address and sent me a free hat! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif Got myself a nice cream and blue one. Figured I better get something that contrasted the tractor so you could see me! Its really to nice to wear when doing any tractor work! Have to save it for the Unimog when I get it done! Once again I want to thank Muhammad for all the hard work that goes into keeping this site up and running. I know that I get much more out of it, than I ever contribute to it! /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

Checked mine, # 529.
I registered on 4/18/2000. That is 347 new members in 12 days. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
Do not know if it is a record, but that is quite a few considering most of us were on 56K or less.

I may be having a memory laps, but. I seem to remember that several of us that were here from 1999 were renumbered in a crash.

What happened is when we implemented this current forum software, we converted all existing user accounts. At the time there were about 300-400. So those were all registered on 4/6/00, IIRC. But most of those members had been around for months or years prior to that.

I was on the board when it was a Kubota board also. Probably in 1998 or early 1999. I remember posting several months before I bought my tractor in May of '99. I remember Bird, MChalkey, and there were many others that I forgot.

Mike, back in those days I was afraid to offer to much info about myself fearing that some where, some way the FBI would come knocking down my door and find my mattress tags missing tossing me and my dogs in the slammer. I tried to be as misleading as possible.
