Long white space at top of forums

We found some more javascript errors and fixed them this morning.

Also, I set up monitoring that will check the forum every 5 minutes and text me whenever there are any errors on any of the pages. So I'll be able to fix the problem within minutes if it happens again.

Well, the white space is back now in the "Northeast" section.

Side note, these java hijacks seem to be going around.

I notice that Lawnsite has been hit with automatic malware downloads via JS I believe.

Google even flagged the site as "Damaging to your computer". They appear to have it under control. Might not be related to the issue over here, but it shows a very good reason why I have Java blocked for the most part.

JAVA has had a lot of problems lately with security and was updating almost weekly recently because of it. W-7 on my pc's is set to automatically update JAVA but it always fails then notifies me on next reboot.
I like it this way because the old JAVA is not replaced by the updates. You can have a slew of old ones wasting space on your hard drive and perhaps contributing to the problems.
I have found the best way to handle JAVA for W-7 is to manually uninstall the old JAVA, then go to the actual Java site, not some site that tells you that you need it and offers it.
The real JAVA site has a test button to confirm that you have uninstalled all the old versions Verify Java Version

Version 7.4 is the latest.
A little extra work, but all the easy automation that everyone likes,can create some of the problems that develop in our computers.

I haven't had the big white space of 2 days now. It used to hit in the morning for couple hours then gone. This last Friday it showed up in middle of the afternoon for about 15 minutes then dissapeared, everything has been fine since. I almost miss the big white space - NOT!!!:laughing::laughing:
