Simon,
What happens if I order and get a defective product either out of the box or under warranty
1.who pays freight
2. How long till I get a new unit
3. Is the warranty prorated?
Thanks
To answer the questions:
1. Within 30 days, if you get a defective product, LONGEVITY covers all costs in the lower 48 states for freight. We test each product at our warehouse in Hayward by actual welders to insure that this does not happen. If it does, its usually damage caused by UPS or FEDEX from a drop.
2. We provide you with a return label, when it is in transit or has a scan, we send a new model out. So maybe 4-7 days depending on your location.
3. Every replacement has a 30 day warranty. So if you get a DOA model, we replace it, the replacement model also has 30 day coverage on freight. After that, you have your 5-year parts and labor warranty!
Any other questions, please ask!
