A lot of Lincoln engine drives are rated at 60% duty cycle. I think they're severely under rated my self.
The only thinkg that scares me about these units is the wire feed mechanism -- very flimsy, and lots of complaints online. When I saw the mechanism on a Hobart, it was no comparison (which is about right, as the Hobart is $150 more).
I've never seen a Longevity Mig welder. But I would think it's about the same as Everlast. When I got to play with roadhunter's Everlast Mig welder I was having a hard time getting the nozzle where I wanted it. I had the gun in my right hand, and trying to remove the nozzle with my left hand. Dumb ol me, I pulled the trigger. Drove the wire right through my welding glove into left hand! I've never had that happen before!
I'm really disappointed in the drive system in my Lincoln LF-72 wire feeder! I bought it used, but it will not push 1/16" flux core wire! It will push .045" wire, but nothing bigger. I have to switch to my LN-25 to run bigger wire.
