While looking around trying to find out if a creeper option is available for the GL3240 FST (it is!!!) I came across this wonderful PDF that contains the suggested retail price for the Kubota L and GL tractors AND all the options that are available for each tractor along with prices for the options!

Why are the LxxxxF tractors 15-20% cheaper than the other tranny options? HST, GST, and DT (gear?) are all fairly close in price - what are these 'F' tractors anyway?

When I bought my kubota 5700 the creeper gear had to be installed by my dealer.I paid for the creeper gear about $500 , can't remember exactly and half the installation fee , it took them less than a day to put in the gear , the whole bill for that was well under $1000 for the gear and labor.

I thought I was the only person on the planet that wants a gear tractor with creeper! I was thrilled to learn Kubota now offers a creeper option with the GL3240FST. $1000 sounds good to me.
