Looking at a 5435

Going to look at a Massey 5435 next week. Anyone familiar with this model that can offer any good/bad info? It's an 2009 with only 500 hours. Keeping my 165 as I just don't have the heart to part with it. Main use will be snow removal

I've had great luck with mine. Just about 1,000 hrs on mine, but know people with many more hours.

Being a 2009, it must have the Dyna-4 transmission? That's a great transmission. The 5400 series is probably the best series in massey's lineup. Very limited issues with them. Nice features for a smaller hp tractor. Big comfortable cab, electric lift control, power shuttle. The radial tires & weight of the machine should be nice for snow removal.

All I would change, I would've gotten the 5445. The 10hp would be nice towing the baler & loaded hay wagon down the road. When I get a new one, I'm going to keep the 5435 & just bump up to a 5460 or 5465 as our hay equipment is starting to get a little bigger.

Thanks for the info. It does have the Dyna 4 transmission. Haven't heard anything bad on this model. It's been on the lot for sometime so I was wondering if there may have been some issues with this model. The price was just lowered so it looks like they may be anxious to move it

I've been looking at the specs and images on tractorhouse for the 5435, very capable and nice looking machine from what I've read.
