I'm looking at a 2004 B2910 with 30 hours on it with 60" FEL, 72" MMM, and 66 gal boom sprayer. Will the warranty still be active, and if so, will it transfer to a new owner?

He's asking $15,750. How does that price sound? Anything I need to be aware of on this model of tractor?

Thx,
Clattin

I can't answer the warrenty issues, but you might want to call a local dealership and simply ask them.

My B2910 is 4+ years old and has never let me down. It is a great little tractor, lots of power for its size. I've never used a MMM on one but it would make a fine mowing tractor as it is nice and light. Despite its light weight, I've never had an issue where I ran out of traction, but then again there are folks on TBN who do more heavy work than I do, maybe Henro can weigh in on issues like that, he works his tractor harder than I do. My bucket is also the 60" bucket, it is not very good for digging unless you have a toothbar, which can be easily added.

My 2002 B2910 warranty was 2 years everything, 3 years powertrain. I would imagine the one you are looking at is the same. I think the warranty goes with the tractor if it is sold and is transferable. I would follow Bob's advice and call the dealer or contact Kubota to be sure though.

I put 530 relatively hard hours on my B2910 during the first two years. 180 the first year and 350 last year. About five hours total was finish mowing, maybe 10 hours brush hogging. The rest was a lot of loader work along with some backhoe use and misc. stuff.

The only problem I have had was the plastic front driveshaft cover failed or got damaged soon after delivery. I believe it somehow failed on its own, due to rubbing at one end where it covers the U joint, but it could have been damaged by something pushing up from below (like a stick)I suppose. My dealer fixed it under warranty.

I think the B2910 is a great tractor for its size.

My neighbor, a former heavy-equipment operator, after seeing the B2910 work a day cleaning up a large willow of mine that fell into his yard (40" diameter, part was in a ditch) summed it up pretty good when he told me: "That little tractor sure made a believer out of me!"

I have no regrets and would buy the B2910 again. If it meets your needs size wise I doubt that you will be disappointed.

With only 30 hours on it, that price sounds fair to me seeing that the 72" MMM is included. Don't have a feel for prices anymore though.

This sounds like a good deal especially with all of the attachments. The same tractor in my area would be at least 1k more.
Good luck /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

I beleive the warrenty goes with the tractor, but as BOB AND HENRO SAYS check with the dealer. the price also sounds pretty good, FELL,MMM AND SPRAYER.

Price seems good, new that package would have been between close to 19K.

Tractor wise I have been impressed with mine so far.

The only thing I would like is a little more lift height, a little more lift capacity and a little better bucket angles. FEL cycle times are pretty good.

Ground clearance is good, manuverability is good, power is very good. The upgraded three point comes in very handy also. My 17hp, 42" cut lawn tractor burns more fuel mowing the lawn than the 2910 working hard.

I would buy another one.

I bought my B2910 new in the summer of 01. It came with the 72" MMM and also a 60" FEL. The price was just over $20K. I think the price for this tractor with only 30 hours on it is a pretty good deal. My tractor has been trouble free for over 670 hours so far. I mow 6 acres with mine, and it does a great job. Just be sure you don't mow in 4WD as it will scuff the grass off when you turn. I have R1 tires on mine and if the ground is wet, it will leave ruts in the ground. I am continually amazed at the strength of this tractor and the ease and speed you can accomplish your tasks.

For what it's worth, you have my approval to purchase it. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Don't let it get away.
My 2910 was purchased in 2000. Almost no problems.
As others have said, You can't beat it for it's size.

I would be putting a deposit on that deal. It is essentially like buying a new tractor. I would be interested in hearing what the dealer said about the warranty.

I just bought a Kubota B7800 w/ 60 hours and the owner said that it would still have remaining warranty. It wouldn't have mattered I probably would have bought it anyways so I didn't call the dealer to ask.
