Carl it's a 1968 Road Runner. I've had it since 1980ish. Thanks. the new tractor should work well. was playing in the snow today. did well w out chains. but I won'[t use it for snow. I have a plow on my truck, and that's warmer LOL!

That's a good looking tractor. I'm interested in hearing your thoughts on it after you've spent some time in the seat.

I think that deck can be pinned in the UP position so you can use the 3pt without having the deck in the way.

Bryan 45. Thanks, I will keep in touch on what I think of it. I have many more summer projects planned. will share on here. the 35 was a bit big in my opinion, but it is the same physical size as a 30/31ish size tractors I started looking at. I feel good about the decision now after I got it home.

I have the case DX 40 same year as yours I believe it to be the same frame size as yours you have a 3 cylinder engine mine is a four cylinder 40 horse engine. I really like the loader and visability over the hood when using the loader. It has been trouble free and still looks new you will like yours.

I like that tractor Blown R/T. I always wanted a Case IH Farmall, being an owner and driver of many International trucks over the years. But I had no dealers around here and you never seen much of anything about them on these forums back in the day.
Keep posting pics. Good to see one on here. They were a good tractor back then, being built by Shibaura.

Too bad you sold the old ones. They looked to be in really nice shape.

I am very pleased with it so far. I really like the treadle petal on this 2008 Farmall 35. and the cruise, I mow steep hills and the power is great with the 72R deck. also I have used the loader on a couple projects. and it works great. I have bought FL tines for the loader as well now. I had the 782 since 2000. bought the 234 in 2007. another point is fuel efficiency this 35 burns more fuel, but also nearly an hr less mow time. rear dis-charge is great to have and a time saver.

In my search for a new mower ( for nearly 3 years) I looked at a 2013 35 B. also a nice tractor. they have a few differences. tough choice, but no regrets.

I did have a rally hard time getting rid of the other two. deciding factor was too many pcs of eqwuip to keep running.

fun little detail found. the origonal build sheet was still in by the steering column.
