How long did you wait for them to come 1 day, 2 days, with hay down that makes a difference......heck, any time down makes a difference in hay!
That's true, but ANY hay farmer around here that's doing something than goofing off with hay, has more than one tractor, most more than two.

I've had my neighbor come over and tell me, he's in a bind, weather is coming and I need my hay raked/turned as I bale. No problem, I get my tractor/rake and go turn his hay over...he would do the same for me.

I was told by my local store they offer delivery but it's thru a 3rd party and pricing was up to the 3rd party to decide.

My rep came with the driver, who was the mechanic at the store and delivered my tractor. She gave a quick tutorial on the backhoe and loader, showing that it all worked, and left me too it. I DID pay for delivery to the tune of a few hundred dollars.

Delivery is $250 for 50 miles or less, $2/mile thereafter. We do use 3rd party transporters to handle, all bonded and insured and experienced with moving tractors. The transaction for the customer is with RK, not the carrier. They bill us and we in turn pay them. Customers are of course free to secure their owns means to transport. We recommend that anyone that owns a tractor have a trailer for many reasons; move from location to location, bring in for service if needed are a couple of the primary ones.
