.......one other thing guys, these are tractors not people and do not need to be defended from attack .......you can insult my tractor all you want /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif I may be out of line, but this back and forth on the 2210 is pretty silly.

Ah...they tore out an acre of trees at the end of my old driveway and rolled a mobile home in --perfectly framed at the end of my driveway. Before that, I spent almost every fair season evening on the front porch with my family. I believe every man has a right to do most anything with his land, but this was a blatant case of no common sense. So, rather than get angry and whine...I had my driveway entrance moved and paved a nice "S" shape that has an entrance 50 feet offset. Now I can plant a nice natural grove of evergreens and still use my front porch in privacy.

I will probably start another thread on the project when I complete a little more work. I have been taking pictures all along. The paving contractor was great to work with. I removed all the old asphalt and the contractor disposed of it. When he scraped the new path for the driveway, he dumped all the topsoil and sod where the old driveway was. He finished paving two days ago and I am doing some drainage work this weekend before planting trees and reseeding. I saved about $1,200 for a few hours of seat time lifting the old asphalt. The 4110 was a champ.

BTW, I never use my cruise control and miss my 2210's cupholder /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

bigpete,

Sorry to hear about the neighbor! I can understand fully. I can't wait to see all your photos of the project, and a big one at that. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif I hope those new trees will be fast growing for you. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

As for the cruse... I will have to tie some helium balloons to my foot because it is so darn heavy. When I am walking it is fine but behind the wheel of any type of vehicle, it just automatically drops to the floor. Crazy eah? I am not sure how rare this condition is. /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

BigPete,

Nice project and nice reaction to that situation. Yes, we would be interested in seeing pics as you go along. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Unfortunately, that is a common condition. It is usually contracted at age sixteen before males learn just how expensive replacement tires are for their first car.

Ironically, I used to use my cupholder as a natural governor rather than cruise control. If you place a cold beverage in a cupholder and give in to lead-foot dementia , your beverage will begin to eject itself through the opening at the top of the container when encountering any bumps or hard turn. Being one who like his beverage either in its container or in my body, I slow down and waste very little of the precious comodity /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Let's make a "tractor law" that says all CUT(s) have to have a cupholder /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif I cannot believe such a simple item is left off tractors.......even my brother's brand spakin' new Kubota 7800 does not have a cupholder ?!! /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Tractors are not the only things requiring cupholders. You might take a trip to West Marine or other boat place and pick up a gimballed drink holder. It would certainly keep that precious liquid from spilling. They are freguently used on sailboats due to heeling and chop.

My bx 23 cup holder is on the left side but it would be better for me if was on the right .
On 2Nd. thought there should be a cup holder on each side so when you turn the seat around to BH the cup holder is always in the correct place.

We sure got side tracked here! Definately seems like the 2210 is more popular. Are there any others out there with info on the 4010's? Looked at the Kioti CK20 last weekend, nice machine and has the weight to back it up. Still leaning green though.
