I looked at the 2210, 4010, 4110,and 4115 before purchasing a 4010 w/ a MMM and FEL 6 months ago. I think your choice should be based on what you are going to use the machine for rather than what everyone else says. I mow 2.5 acres of lawn, grade hundreds of feet of driveway, and am slowing removing trees from another 2.5 acres. I needed extra ground clearance for clearing in forested areas and I needed light enough weight to be able to drive on the lawn without sinking with the Western WA dampness. The 4010 met my requirements and I have had no problems with it. With the HP limitations I have had to take a little more time when digging and pulling stumps, but it has had adequate power for pretty much everything I've done. Another option for me would have been to buy a larger tractor and a separate riding lawnmower, but my decision saved some money and the 4010 has worked well with no limitations. I also plan to dig hundreds of feet of drain and may purchase a small backhoe. There has been much bantering about the inadequate structure of the 4010 in supporting a backhoe, but there are aftermarket versions for 18 HP tractors that work well for light digging work and my JD Dealer will order, install, and warranty a unit on the 4010. I felt that with my terrain, a little more ground clearance would help in this respect as well. I hope this helps a bit.
