It's still the original 6V system. I want to pull an equipment trailer with it, (Less than 20 miles round trip on county roads.) so I'll need it to run a brake controller as well as the LED trailer lights. My dad (retired electronics technician and master electrician) has a few ideas how to keep most of it 6V, but run 12V where needed without having to rewire the whole truck and replace every 6V bulb, gauge and associated item.well done. hopefully it'll serve you well for years to come.

Love that 6400. A grain truck is on my must have list although I don't have room for one at the moment. Blueriver, any more pics of the '59?
