So I hit a beaver-cut stump with my Woods 720X rotary cutter and sheered off the tailwheel assembly. Unaware that the wheel had broken off, I ran the wheel over and destroyed it.
So I'm looking for an inexpensive tailwheel assembly that has a 1-1/2" shank that also has 8-3/4" free play between the wheel yoke and the retaining pin on the top.
I found a version with a 7" shank, but I'd need to weld in the extra shank space to get the free play my cutter needs. Any ideas or places to go?
Thanks in advance!
