JD 4310
Does anybody have any suggestions or web sites that sells toothbars? I have a JD 4310 with the 430 fel. I made a trip to JD to see if they had something I could mount and make my own, but they didn't seem to have anything. They priced me one but I thought I could make one for less money. I basically want something I can take on and off. I have a project in which I need one. I have used the search on this site but can't seem to find any answers. I have not made to rural king or tsc to see if they will have anything I could build one with. Any ideas I would truly appreciate it. Thank you.

The best prices I have seen for a tooth bars is Markhamwelding.com I just bought one to fit a 66" bucket for $225. plus shipping. Ordered it on Wed. received it on Friday, nice quality product they produce and great customer service.

Just bought a Woods through my dealer, I could have bought a Markham for the same price with shipping. I chose to buy the Woods to keep a good relation with my dealer. The badfall was it took almost three weeks to get it. Although it took so long to get, I think it was the best investment I made for my tractor thus far.

I just built one for my FEL about a month ago. I went to a few places around here but was only able to find the teeth and shankes at a NH dealer. The shankes ran me ~$4.50/ea. and the teeth were $2.79/ea. They were a little smaller (like 1 3/4" wide), but I couldn't come anywhere the price on anything else. Between the teeth and the 3/8" steel, I think I have less than $60 invested (including grade 8 bolts to hold it on). My neighbor came over when I was getting ready to install it and asked me where I bought it because he wanted one for his tractor. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

I also built my own. Check it out here

(I just cut and pasted the link from my own browser and I'm not sure if the "collapsed/sb/5/o/....." stuff in the link will cause you to see the thread with my preferences, but oh well ....)

Ben i had a post about this company just recently but here it is. fabco

I just recieved a catalog yesterday from them and it has part numbers for teeth and shanks. it gives the dimensions for the shanks on the website also.

I am going to call and see if they sell direct. but i bought a shank from a new holland dealer that they make. thats how i found out about them. a search for the company.
I think they make alot of the shanks we see out there.
