Mosquitoes and grass alergies in the summer were two deciding factors (oh, and the fact it's -27C out right now...) in getting a cabbed machine. Plus when you are snow blowing and the wind changes it's nice not to get face full
Plus for light skiff's I have the plow, I can change between the two in minutes.
Thanks diesel, that makes a lot of sense and I think I will start to price out the 60" 3 point Blowers.
Frank sure like the covered cab, I ended up with the BH77 so was already a bit over the budget. If I didn't use the fel so much I would definitely have considered front mount.
Like you I use the FEL for firewood but also didn't want to break the bank with a front snowblower... used $1200.
Also have a sun shade and wind blown snow sucks so I bought a $300 soft cab the dropped over and keeps me pretty protected..
Running a used Puma 54 (Pronovost) rear mount on my B 7510. Very happy with it... Other than a new chain this year, no issues and the width is perfect for my B series... I've had it for 5 years and changed the gear box oil and greased it, but otherwise just use it hard... How old it really is, no idea...
I was lucky to buy it off CL with already hydraulic rotation and deflection... Makes it very easy to operate... I already had rear remotes...
Its Canadian, and I've emailed them a few times on questions but never any responses... So can't speak to direct customer service... But most parts could be sourced online... I also was able to download a parts manual online, in case I do need anything..
