I found a really neat snowplow bracket on this u tube site
YouTube - Snow Plowing John Deere with Fisher Plow

I have tried to contact the fellow that makes it but cannot find any contact info for him. I think he is in Maine and goes by parkerguns

Anybody know him or if he is still selling the attachment?

Nothing special there. I made one for my Meyer plow this fall. Any welding shop can fab it up in a few hours. Many of us here have done this. Make sure to put tubes to accept shoes on the mount in case you want to run your loader in float and also take the time to put a trailer hitch tube on it. Make a great adapter for moving them.

I think you are looking for a user called Northernmainer. He does build plates for Fisher plows. I used a very similar design as his and here are a couple pics.

Where do you buy the hooks and pins for the 300 cx loader mount? Directly from John Deere?

Yes, JD sells them or they are easily made...I am at work now without pictures or links-but you can search the term "hooks" in the JD forum or wait till later and I will post more info.

Here are some more photos of my snow situation. Still want to go for a fisher snow plow. Too much rock, gravel, and peoples junk under the snow to risk a blower.

http://www.summerking.net/snowplow.html

Put a few photos on my web site. I have just finished building a snow pusher will post a photo of that when I get a chance. Thanks to this site I have a pretty good idea of how to build the adapter for the fisher snowplow or another truck type plow.

I like how you have the plow mounted under the loader. Just about ready to start building the loader atachment For a Dk 55 Koiti with a fisher plow.
Just started to snow today so I better hurry.

Just started mine today also. I bought mine with mounts on the front of the QA adapter plate but am changing to a rear mount so the plow doesn't stick out so far. I was able to move it back about 14" behind the plate. I'll post some pics if I finish it this weekend.

Here's a pic before mods

Hi.
Any problem getting the Quickatach to work if the plowframe is mounted under it?

No problem at all. I just finished welding it up and it goes on and off easy. I just have to paint and I'll be ready for snow.

Some more pics. With the bar on the loader I had to drop it down 5" and then back 15". I could have gone back more and still have full angle but I was worried thar would stress it too much. That bar makes it harder.

I also made a ballast barrel. It has a receiver hitch and a place for a chainsaw scabbard. I left the concrete 4" so I can put gas and oil and chains on top. Also put in plastic pipe for shovels, rakes or whatever. Should make the plowing easier.

Thanks for the pictures.I have a woods loader but it has the same bar and the handles are the same for the quickdisconect. So the pictures you sent will help. I almost got the quickdisconect plat done then I can start on the plow mount.
