That's a good article.Another link - LED Tractor Lights: What You Need to Know
Super Bright LED's.
They tend to list the incandescent equivalent wattage for LED lights, and not the actual wattage. I added lights on my tiny truck, and used the stated wattages, to calculate Amp draw, and that to size wiring. Once I had them hooked up, I checked the amperage draw and it was about 25% of what it would be if they actually drew the wattage stated in the descriptions.I am going to replace the whole housing. I can't see the amp draw listed on any of the lights. My fuse for the lights I'm changing is 10 amp so I need to keep it under that. Where do I find this or how is it computed. I know draw is low on LED.
I'm also done with Amazon. Thier "membership" fee has gone out of site; no longer a big advantage over local suppliers. And their deivery dates have become simply wishful thinking. Actual delivery usually is several days after thier promised date. New moto for me is to check around for better price and delivery.Agreed. I bought a Makita impact gun advertised as new in the box but it came through in a ripped open opened box and returned box. I returned it. Next up a vacuum and obviously used and no box. Sent it back as well. I forgot over a few months and then bought an expensive flashlight. Opened, used and returned. Back it goes.
I'm done with that type of stuff from Amazon. I can buy the same things local for a few $$ more--but no hassle--and help those guys. There's also Lowes and Home Depot mail order that delivers free right to my door. No muss, no fuss and I get what I want.
