I've been searching for a while now, some close purchases but nothing. This is what I'm looking for, maybe you can help be find a model/brand.

Used
24hp to 30hp
72" belly mower
Loader
Hydro (3 speeds)
4X4

So far I found the John Deere 4200 and 4210 is right in there. Any brand I would consider. Any suggestions?

Thank you!

I'm partial to John Deere, I have an 04 4310. Really does a great job. I have just over 5 acres and mow probably 3.5 of it with a 6' rear finish mower. Wish I had a belly mower but can't justify it because I had this and it works. I also use it to till the garden, split wood, move the wood on pallets you name it. I have a backhoe as well and I put in a new septic with it last summer. The loader is a 430 and it is very strong. Couldn't do without it now.

Don't know what your budget is but this model or the newer 3320 are worth looking into. Have not been let down. Hope this helps

Well, the #1 selling compact tractor in the US is Kubota, and your requirements are pretty much right in the sweet spot of their smaller models, so you probably should be looking at them also. The lighter Kubota's are the B series; the larger models are the L's. If you're mostly doing grounds keeping, check out the B's; if you're more into heavier work, look at the L's.

Kubota, Deere and New Holland are the big 3; Kioti, Massey Ferguson and Mahindra are probably next in line. All of them make good equipment and you really couldn't go too far wrong with any of them. Finding a used machine that's in good shape is more important to me that what brand it might be, but it's wise to look at equipment with dealer support or at least a parts counter somewhat nearby.

That said, my two Kubotas have been running virtually trouble free for 9 years and 6 years, respectively, having only needed maintenance items along the way, plus one sensor.

I would add the Kioti CK25 and CK30 to your search. You will find the Kioti tractors are very well built and easily compare to the big names yet return stronger loaders and other attachments, heavier weight, more standard options, and cheaper prices.

Some good advice. Local support is important. My jd dealer is less than three miles away. I am definitely biased. That's all I've ever known. From grandparents on down that's all we ever owned.

I have had the opportunity to work a few different brands over. I like most of them, just subtle differences that bother me. Really liked the new holland I ran. The hydro pedals were the same as my Deere. Liked the kubota I ran a few times except the treadle. Just can't get used to it. But both strong machines and comparable in hp to mine.

I would really like the chance to run a kioti or a bobcat. Both look to be well made. Think they are same. But I like the looks and quality. Only crawled over them while on display. The mahindra I looked at I wasn't impressed with the build quality. Looked a little weak. Mind you I did not run this machine so that's no really fair. If your not in a hurry check them all out.

Look at the 3032e JD with a rear finish mower. I would think 17 to 18k would cover it....new. 30+hp with 25hp at the pto.
