Looking into a 2 bottom Dearborn disk

Put a 6 inch block under your 2 left tractor tires, adjust the plow to run level with the ground front to back with your top link and level with the ground right to left with your tractor leveling arm crank on the right rear. After you make a furrow, fine tune adjust the plow in the same way (just wont need the blocks under the left side) The front disc should be taking about 12 inches. Spacing on the tractor tires should be pretty close to 24 inches from the center of the draw bar to the right rear tire inside rubber. If not close to that, adjust the track width of the tractor or slide the plow some on the cross draw bar to reconcile. Ken Sweet
Okay, after adjusting the lifting arms to the middle hole I can now move around without dragging any. I noticed that one pin is dog legged and the other is straight. I am thinking that this controls the bite. If I roll the pin forward, I should get a smaller bite. A Smaller bite means less crabbing. Let me know if I am wrong, or make suggestions as needed.

The rotating adjustable cross drawbar is only for making the plow follow in a straight line with the center line of the tractor and not a angle "off" the center line of the tractor. To get width of cut on the front plow can only be accomplished by the earlier setup described last night. Ken Sweet
