Tgello,

That feature is for those of us who don't subscribe to the local paper and therefor can't check the obituaries to see if we're still alive.

Congratulations! You seem to be!

Chuck

chuck, thats funny that you say that. when my dad opens the paper he goes to the obits. first. he says if he doesn't see his name , it's going to be a good day! i'm sure he's really just looking for all his old buddies....tgello

Ive been on the page: who is online. Muhammad you are drawing a bigger crowd everyday. Exellent site guy! Its clean and stays on task! Some forums ive been on start out good, but then some take it to the dogs and want to know your marrage status and love life and even wanting to try and wreck it. Dont see that here at all. I like going on the page: whos on line to see the numbers grow. Ive seen as many as 65 people in both (un)registered at the same time. Keep up the good work!
Thanks Larry

I just had a experience with the obit colum. In the obits last monday was an obit for a james burke. The house got several calls witch I answered. It caused some to be quite shocked. There was 4 of us of the same name and now there is only 3. I am not going to look at the obits anymore.

Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean that they're not really out to get you. ;)

jhburke,

When I was 17 I had a friend move to another town and about 2 years later his obit showed up in our hometown paper, killed in a car accident. You can imagine my shock when he knocked on our door several months later! Very strange feeling when you see someone you thought was dead standing on your porch.

As Mark Twain said, "Rumors of my death are greatly exagerated."
