Welcome aboard.

One of the quickest and easiest methods for changing the size of your pics for posting is the freeware called "PIXresizer" which can be downloaded {HERE} The program is very intuitive, and lacks a bunch of bells and whistles, but that's what makes it easy to use when you quickly want to post. If you have a group of pics in a folder, you can resize all of them at once in a matter of a couple of seconds.

I cannot confirm the bolt and nut size. I would buy a cheap caliper set and measure it. Who knows... they may have changed sizes between models, too. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

If you have a Harbor Freight store near you, they have cheap ones for $1.99 on up in price.

.Jim [Johara1] and I went round and round about this one, about 12 months ago. I believe we both tightened, both ends and are still enjoying a quieter PT.

forgive the error, I was holding the link in the up or tightened position, in this one I allowed it to drop to the loose position, the upper edge measurement shows 13/16.
what a beautiful steady ride after tightening the 1/4 inch play. Take Care.

Sorry, Maybe I wasn't clear or like MR said, they may have changed the design. I just purchased my 425 3 months ago. Here is what I am talking about. I want to know the wrench size for this nut.

MR, I agree a set of calipers would do the trick. I dont have a set and can't wait to get a set. I will try to get a set from a friend.

I have a pt425 and I got a 1 13/16 boxed end open end wrench and It does fit mine. When I first got my machine and before I found a cheap 1 13/16 inch wrench I took a 1 3/4 inch boed open end wrench and ground out the open end part enough to fit the nut which worked for my first tightening. I had a hard time finding the 1 13/16 wrenchat a price that I could afford considering no oftener than I would be using it, but you can find one and harbor freight is a good place to look.
