lost 4 wheel drive

I have a bx 25 4 wheel drive not working I shift the lever and no 4 wheel.

First thing to check is the drive shaft goin to the front axle. Unless yours has a cable that activates the 4wd, then check that first.

Check your front drive shaft; these are usually driven by a "roll pin" which are not very substantial, and while your down there, check the linkage to be sure it is still connected

I would check the handle to make sure it hasn't been bent or that a weld hasn't broke. Some of Kubota's handles are less than stout and have a tendency to bend giving you the full throw in the cover but not at the shift rod.

lost 4 wheel drive thanks guys but its not a rool pin,drive shaft, or the front wheel gears the lever works good shifts easy no welds broken shifting lever &rod move ok. jacked the front up put it in gear hold one wheel turn the other driveshaft turns sounds like agrinding noise in trans. 2009 bx 25.looking for answers.

4 wheel not working drive shaft, pins;lever ok slight grinding noise in trany when turning whels by hand.any ideas out there.

I broke one of those roll pins. rear u-joint slipped off the tranny output shaft.

I also bent the rear diff lock linkage(don't know how).

I would go over all the 4wd shift linkage and make sure it is not tweaked, twisted, or bent. Not sure what your linkage looks like, but I would be tempted to disconnect at the transmission and work it by hand right at the transmission to see if that helps.

Other thing might try... does this tractor have a strainer on the hydraulics(my old B8200 did...). Remove the strainer, and look for big metal filings or chunks.
