Front-End Loader Lost but Looking for Ford 2000 Front End Loader

Help! I have just purchased a Ford 2000 tractor. The serial number is 1004B so i think it is a 1962. It is a three cylinder. I have lots of light uses for a front end loader and am looking everywhere trying to find a used one with almost no luck. I found one made by Ford Dearborn Tractor with a serial number 1713. It came off of a Ford 600. Would it fit my tractor?

Is there a resource for such things which you, anyone, would recommend?

Any guidance or help you may give would be keenly appreciated.

If it is a three cylinder it will be a 65 or later tractor..Prior to that the thousand series were off shoots of the previous "01 " series in which the 601 series had a 4 cylinder lp,gas,134 ci or diesel 144ci 4 cylinder. 801 series had a 172 ci gas or diesel 4 cylinder..I believe in 65 they had the 201 ci 3 cylinder..If you had an early 60's 2000 ford the 600 loader would probably fit,,Your's being a three cylinder indicates a later model . Not sure if it would fit without modification,,

The 2000 can use the 730 loader I do believe.. I dont know if this one IS a 730, but a quick call to get the numbers couldnt hurt. Cheap too, though does need a little work: Ford self contained hydraulic loader complete with the pump mounts to I was gonna pick it up just for the parts..

Thanks so much. It does appear to be 1971. With more careful research i think the 730 loader is the one to fit. So far i have not found one. Any suggestions?

Another thing is other brands that have already been adapted for the Ford 2000/3000 series.

If you cant find one, give that number a call.. For a couple of hundred it might be worth the trip. 730's are hard to come by w/o buying the whole tractor.
