Your experience is exactly what I'm talking about. I bought Deere based on growing up with them.
But--I purchased prior to discovering TBN. Since then, I have learned alot about the other brands. So--when I purchase my next tractor, I will strongly consider Deere, but I have promised myself to visit the others--NH, Kubota, Kioti (if there's a dealer around) to see what I like best.
I really like my Deere and in all probability will end up with another. However, if I do buy another Deere, it won't be from a dealer that tries to sell me a Deere based on the negatives of the other brands.
You're wise to require your sales people to sell the merits of your product and service. It's the best way in the long run.
