Richard, I currently have Organizer 97 installed, and use it every day. It is a great piece of software for calendar; reminders; names, address, telephone numbers;as well as a to-do list.

Organizer does provide an export feature, however, it looks like you may have to do up to 5 exports, one each for: Calendar: To Do; Addresses; Notepad; and Anniversary. Not sure if you can export all at once or not. Export can be done to: ANSCII Delimited text; ANSI text; dBASE; and FoxPro.

If you want, I could export some test files for you to play with. If you are interested, just let me know.

just what I'm looking forward to ... RETIREMENT! ... I left the AF to work on these durn things - and I've been saying for over 10 years now, that I don't care how long I work on computers - I don't think I'll ever get one off the ground ... til I toss one off the radar tower ... YEAH!! (the finale for my retirement party) .... still 4 1/2 years away ... sigh

RLK, I appreciate the offer. I won't have the file until Sunday morning. I'll tinker on it Monday. If I have any issues..I'll feel more comfortable now asking.

My understanding is the only data that my specific needs will be, will be the name, full address, phone, social (if in there) and that's most of it. I would presume most of that to be contained in a singular datafile. I had not even contemplated as you have, the possiblity of having to blend several buckets of data together. /w3tcompact/icons/shocked.gif

You can use MS Outlook to import straight from the Organizer files and then use Outlook to export to Excel, Access or Word.
