My YM2000B just hit 700 hours, (9999.9 hour meter), purchased direct from the shipping container from Japan in June 2001, without even being serviced.

What kind of nasty oil came out of it..just wondering? Think the hydro had ever been changed?

Oil was pitch black, with a Japanese filter, 420 hrs when I got it, goes well over 100 hrs before beginning to turn black, (apparently not much carbon in engine). Have never changed trans fluid, but still has translucent reddish new look, and no leaks or probs.

You dont think changing the hydro fluid would be cheap insurance? Who knows what they used and what that fluid is and you have a pretty good amount of hours on it so far.

You are no-doubt right, but every time I check it, I think, Nah, looks good. Never even had to add to it, and lift works perfectly. Will even hold a bush hog in the air for months at a time when called upon to do so:confused:

When you say "V" loaders I am not sure if you mean Vtek or Vietnam. My old Bulldog loader had steel lines. (Vietnam)

VTEK are the loaders I was referring to
