It appears that LS has taken away our ability to search for parts on their online system. I suspect that this is an attempt to force us to buy more through their dealer network as opposed to buying through Messick's or Case/New Holland. I'm all for supporting the dealers, but over the last year or two, their ability to get parts in a timely manner has been bad. When LS decides to move their warehouse in the middle of the summer, two summers in a row, they don't seem to be in tune with our needs. The dealer had my tractor for 2 month this summer waiting on a simple injector, since it was a warranty part LS would not allow the dealer to get the part from Case/New Holland. Once the part was in and the tractor was running properly again, LS tried to back out of the warranty agreement. The dealer spent another month re-sending the Emails outlining the original agreement. I'm assured that this is all behind them now and everything will be wonderful in the future. I may be a bit of a skeptic, but passed performance/decisions is typically a better predictor of the future.
So LS Mtron, you want more customer loyalty, provide better support. That means timely availability of parts, honoring your agreements, supporting your dealer networks so that we want to use them over all other sources, and allow us access to the online parts look-up. It is so much easier for the dealer when I come in with the part number for them to verify.
