These were imported i nthe late 80's and early 90's by a company in Minnestota I ll have to look them up on my Farmshow cd. My eighbor that sells Branson and LS had this one on a lot from a trade in from a Goat farmer. They had it on a 20 HP Mitsubishi ad it was too heavy for it. They had it forsale for 1000 but after it sat most of the summer I bought it for 500. Its made really simple, al lthe chains and and tings are off the shelf. This unit was a grey market, I think it will be pretty easy to get one over here through an importer. I love this baler since its 3 point mounted and all the hydraulics are selfcontained and run off the pto. Its got tons less parts than a square baler to.

I have a LS3040 that is 6 months old and have moved tons of dirt and gravel with my fel being heaped and over flowing. Take it to the dealer and get it checked out. My dealer has bent over backwards for me.

It is the same old story, the dealer is more important than the actual brand.

I think the nicest feature is ... No adjusting as the day goes on. A square bale .. (in my experience) you have to watch the tension or the bales become c-shaped ... small round ... just keep going.

I just finished building a small pond with my new LS 7010 C. It has a couple of glitches with the gauges, sometimes they work and then dont. Tach goes and comes and sometimes registers wrong so it is likely a short circuit somewhere. I only have 10 hours showing on it, but I worked it all day one day without the tach working. The FEL also has need off pressure adjustment as it will lift more than it will curl which it really weird. It will lift an overfull bucket of damp clay/sand soil with no effort. I also moved some really large rocks with it yesterday. I had to get used to the self leveling bucket feature which my other tractor doesnt have and makes a huge difference in how to load the bucket. So far I am very happy with it. I thought I would need to get a tooth bar to dig with but I dug my pond over 6 feet deep using mostly the FEL. I did use the box blade with scarifier teeth to loosen up the first 12" which was hardened by 4 months of drought here. The FEL was cutting into it ok, but it was really spinning the wheels a lot. Once I got down a foot or so, the digging got easier. It took me 2 day to dig and levee a 60 x 60 (estimated as I havent really measured it yet) that is more than 6 feet below grade and with a 4 foot levee. Pictures will be posted later on a new link.

All I have had out of the LS tractor people is trouble and that is just wanting to look at them and talk about the tractor before I purchased maybe 4 tractors for our Park.

You may want to start a new thread, as this one was started in 2009, and the last post was in 2010..
Give us a bit more info, and I'm sure someone will give you some guidance.

You might want to be a little more specific when you start your own post and perhaps give us a general idea of your location.
