I think it depends on what you want to do with it. The LS is 65 gross HP and weighs 4,667#, while the T4.75 is 74 gross HP and weighs 5,886#. That is 1,200 pounds difference, which is a bunch. I'm not that familiar with the XU series, but if it's the same frame size as the U series, it's a somewhat smaller size tractor than the T4.75 (it's been a couple of years since I looked at either of them).
If the XU5065 has plenty of power for what you want to do with it, I think it would be a great tractor with a lot of useful features at a price that would be way cheaper than the T4.75.
But, if you're going to be pushing the XU to the limits of its abilities, or if you need a larger machine with more net HP or PTO HP, or just more weight for traction, you may find yourself disappointed in going with the smaller LS.
Many people buy a tractor and find they later wish they had gone one size larger. Don't make that mistake. It's expensive.
It's a real pity that LS doesn't make the P7030 in a ROPS model.
Oh, and whatever tractor you buy, if you are working in the trees, you will probably want a grapple. There are a lot of grapple threads on here with pictures and lots of good advice. You can't talk about grapples without someone wanting to spit, cuss and argue about something, but it's all educational.
