LT1046 engines

I just bought a cc 1046 Dec 22 from a dealer, it has the
Command engine. The dealer had to hunt it down from another dealer supposed to be a 2005 as 06's he couldn't get till Jan.

Thank you for contacting Cub Cadet.

We received a phone call from your dealer today. Our website information is incorrect and it will be changed as soon as possible.

The LT1046 should have the Kohler Courage SV720. We do not manufacture the LT1046 with a Command Engine.

I would really appreciate to have the Command engine engine that is supposed to be in my tractor since this is what I paid for.

Why does my LT1046 have a Courage SV720 engine instead of the Command CV23 that is listed(and supposed to be the one in my tractor) in my owners manual and on the specifications on your website and product literature. How does this affect my parts replacement?

Like was mentioned, just make sure you get in writting that the engine is covered for three years also. It does appear though that your dealer and Cub Cadet are working with you on the situation. Hope things go well for you.

The 1042 and 1045 have been using the Courage engine. Only the 1046 and 1050 in the 1000 series used the Command.
