LT180, runs sluggish after about 15 mins

The cap new is 14 something from JD I just bought one for mine. I am having the same issues with mine this year. I have cleaned the carb, really didn't find anything, new plugs, premium fuel and carb cleaner for anything else I couldn't find. !0 minutes cutting same thing, 2 years ago I had it in the shop because I had gotten water in the fuel. They said the carb, after having water in it would not last long, I can't see it being that fickle. Any thing I missed guys?

I think with the information prosperity and bullbreaker gave me, I should be good to go. My cap is ok, and still salvageable now that I have it cleaned up. It sounds ok so far, the big test comes tomorrow.
