How often do you grease your tractor? is it event, time, or opportunity driven?
What lube do you use and why?

I try to grease all the equipment at the hours the manufacturer recommends. Greasing is a good rainy day chore. My tractor doesn't require much greasing but the mowers sure do. I use New Holland AMBRA. It covers all my needs. I don't think the type of grease is as important as the frequency. Greasing is a nasty time consuming job but probably the most important to equipment life.

As the previous poster said, per recommended hours. But if you work in dusty dry conditions, I always grease more often.
