The fella in the red t shirt was yours truly. Sortuva calling card, the red t shirts, I just sorta like them. You just don't see many fine fellas in them. Mostly kids.
This is Iris doing one of her things. Note the eighteen inches of black clay and they we find caliche, aka austin chalk, aka limestone, aka this is what you got in Parker, TX.
I don't know if you noticed what all was on the trailer. First there's Iris of course, the one in the cute yellow top and neat black thingy over the backside.
Then there's the mixer. She's a toot. About the only thing original on her is the barrel and the frame, well, part of the frame. The rest is rigging by yours truly cause they don't make parts for her anymore.
Under the mixer is the concrete bucket that I use instead of a wheelbarrow to dispense the concrete. It's setting on the quick attach forks.
When we rolled up to the job first I unloaded Iris with her auger attachment. Once she was on the ground I quick detached the auger attachment.
I put on the forks and unloaded the concrete bucket and the mixer. The mixer goes next to the trailer. I then placed two pallets of Maximizer sacrete on the trailer. I also set up the fifty five gallon barrel and started filling it with water.
I put away the forks and reattached the auger motor. We dug the holes.
Then it was time for the concrete bucket. I set the posts. When it was all done it all went back on the trailer.
In this picture is Indana Bob. It's his son and son's neighbor that I'm helping out with putting fences around their pools. Bob is the guy who saved my lunch when the Little Beaver hydraulic auger tried to eat me. If it hadn't been for him I'd probably be sitting here talking with my fingers. And both legs would be in a cast.
You're lucky the kid was there. It looks like the tail of your trailer would have been a little high to unload Iris. I've been in the position of having a piece of equipment to rectify a problem and not be able to get it where I needed it, that's just a little frustrating. Have you recovered from getting all wound up yet?
