Does your dealer have a dyno they can run it on. I would try and run it at full PTO HP for a while on the dyno after a successful Regen and see if you can clean the DPF by running it harder

This is your problem. You are not running the tractor hard enough. I am betting the DPF is prematurely clogged from low rpm soot. This could be in combination or separate of a bad temperature sensor.

My thinking too. You should not be seeing a regen every 12 hours, that's for sure. To me that's an indicator of another problem. We had another customer in this same situation, all loader work and the guy refused to run the Rev's higher even though we kept telling him too.

Although the spike \ shutdown is weird. I'm probably wrong.

I can't buy that or a bad sensor if it's exactly every 12 hours. That would strike me as a computer problem.

Now, if it's fewer hours than should be expected, somewhere around 10-15, then ....

Well I got Kubota Canada involved and my dealer has already spoken with them enough times that they knew who I was before I told them where I was calling from lol. So thats a good sign, but still they "we are working on it".

Frustrating problem to say the least.

If they aren稚 sending Kubota engineers out to your location to troubleshoot and test, they arent working on it in my opinion. They need to be more involved at this point.

Branson uses a low temp constant regen and mechanical injection. If you run it at low rpm and low loads all the time eventually the pressure sensor will warn you that the DPF is clogging. Since there's no way to run a regen cycle the fix is to run it hard for a while. One way is to run up and down the road.

Based on MHarryE's post I could see how a temp sensor that read high would turn off the post injection and keep the DPF from actually getting hot enough. it could also make the ECU turn off regen if it thinks the temp is too high.

When you used a thermocouple to verity the the sensor was reading correctly what was the result?

Computer LOGIC problem; based on bad information from a sensor that is out of specification most likely. Remember they already threw a new computer at it.

There are 2 computers with which to contend, engine and tractor. I’m not sure how they interface but changing the tractor computer on mine changed auto regen from select by push button to default. They did not change the decals so the lucky second owner of mine will have confusing orders. However it seems like the OP here had his engine computer changed and the book gives no clue how they work together.
