Congratulations on your "as new" M59 - now you have some breathing room to decide whether to add a cab - and when. Maybe it would be good to get the feel of the machine for a couple seasons with just the roof ? Whatever you do, don't get it dirty.....

Thanks, I actually just got it delivered on Monday and already have about 10 hours added to the 69.2 it had on arrival. It looked brand new when it got delivered, but somehow I missed that bit about gettin her dirty :D. According to my wife, I am in love with the M59 and in danger of not needing her much anymore . I hope she get's over it... or "I'm gonna miss her" :p. The power this thing has is amazing for it's size and I am impressed with how much dirt I can move in a short time. The hyd thumb is great and soon I'll be putting the TnT to use when the Land Pride RBT3596 back blade w/ 3 way hydraulics comes in.

I've been looking long and hard at different implements to use (this site has been a tremendous help) with it and I think with everything I am looking at doing, I will make it work with the FEL, BH, Forks & Hyd Back Blade for a while until I replenish the piggy bank. I'm gonna try this winter without a cab and see how it works out... after all, if I can do it on a snowmobile, I think I can handle the wind in my face on the M59.

On a side note, I must say that dealing with Mark from Issaquah Honda Kubota in WA was a very satisfying experience. Everything was EXACTLY as he said it was, no issues and just a pleasure to deal with a straight shooter that treats you more than fair.

Can't remember where you are, but here's a thought if you just need heat in winter - not AC. I've been thinking about it, but haven't decided I need it yet.

Get a Boat canvas place to do a zippered enclosure on the m59. Should be reasonable, even cheap if you can find a good seamstress. The frame is already there. The machine and hydraulics put off a lot of heat when running - I think with an enclosure to trap the heat in, the cab would be pretty tolerable any place that's no colder than massachusetts (probably wouldn't apply to the midwest/canada, or northern new england)
