Do you happen to have pictures or a diagram of the ports and hoses you swapped?

I don't have any pics now but I can snap a couple later. Do you have a WR Long valve and having the same symptoms?

I haven't had a chance to take any pics of my valve hookup yet but this maybe of better use to you since my tractor's valve and hoses are crowded in such a tight space. This diagram of the control valve helped me a lot after talking with Josh at WR Long. It gave me an idea of what all the hoses were and where they went. I'll still try to get a couple pics of the valve on my tractor just to verify.

>The diagram illustrates the hose locations without the 3rd function valve installed to the Power Beyond.

>Hoses 1,2,3,4 all go to the front end loader so I didn't mess with any of those, just verified where they went.

>With the WR Long valve correctly installed, a hose from the "P" port on the Long valve goes to the "PB" port on the loader valve, which is where hose #8 is located shown in the diagram.

>With the WR Long valve correctly installed, hose #8, shown in the diagram, goes to the "T" port on the Long valve.

>All I ended up doing was to switch the hoses on the "P" and "T" port on the Long valve without messing with anything else.

(Josh said that everything could work with the hoses crossed but not as everything should, which is what I was experiencing before I switched hose locations)

Hope this helps.

I have the factory option version 3rd function. I just noticed I have never been able to lift the tractor using just dump. I can lift it with the boom after rotating the bucket/grapple down then bringing the boom down. I do not experience the 3rd function staying open until moving the hydraulics for the loader though. When I get time over the weekend I will try to trace the lines and make sure they are hooked up correctly.

Sounds good. Checking the hookup wouldn't hurt a thing. Mine was a brand new tractor and the dealer incorrectly installed the new valve. I had never considered it was hooked up wrong. Goes to show you that anyone including a reputable dealer can make a mistake.
