It's an on/off switch powering a relay. The only way I can see a soft start or anti stall function is if the ECM (which supplies the ground for said relay) is providing it.Is there any anti-stall function? My Kioti has such a feature. It's supposed to keep the engine from stalling out if there's too great of a demand/load. If the M7060 has anything like this it might be worth a try at enabling it. I will run about 1,200rpm when I engage any mower on my Kioti; and while folks say that the knob is just on/off I still look to just ease it (turn it slowly); if there's any sense of an issue it's just that much closer to engaging OFF. (I don't have any incense in the tractor so this is the best I can do!)
And like it needs to be said... I will have my mower lifted off the ground a bit to ensure that it's not grabbing anything when turned on.
I couldn't find any reference in Kubota's documentation about such a feature. The point about a feature such as this is that if the engine is seeing too heavy a load that would otherwise stall the engine it would ******/back off the load (not sure how; I used it only a little bit on my Kioti while doing some loader work and it seemed to work OK- I am able to respond to a potential stall quick enough that I don't really bother with the feature). It's an on/off switch powering a relay. The only way I can see a soft start or anti stall function is if the ECM (which supplies the ground for said relay) is providing it.
